Each translation is unique. For these reasons, we cannot offer a list of set fees, as it would be unfair to you and your needs. Quotes are estimated depending on several variables, such as:

  • Word Count;
  • Complexity & Subject Matter;
  • Purpose (for information vs for publication);
  • Delivery Date (Urgency);
  • Format of original text (electronic vs hardcopy).

The final estimate will be provided after we have seen the text or a representative sample of it. (You wouldn’t trust a doctor telling you what is wrong with you sight unseen, would you?).

These are some generalities to take into account:

Translations services are calculated on the basis of the source word count (number of words in the original text), as long as the text is available on an Ms Word compatible electronic format. Otherwise (if the text is available only as a hardcopy, fax or PDF file), the final price will be based on the number of words in the translated text. (In this case, the quote will be a very rough estimate,
as it is virtually impossible to know the exact word count in advance). Small, occasional projects may be subject to a minimum flat fee.

Editing, Summarizing & Writing services may be billed per hour, or —depending on the nature of the writing assignment—, a flat fee may be negotiated.

Urgent or Express translations will take 30-50% extra charge.
